How old do I need to be?

you need to be 18+ to get a tattoo, even if your cool mum says it okay.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Price is dependent on the design detail and complexity, the size, drawing time, placement of the tattoo and duration of the session. I’m always open to discussing budgets and implementing a sliding scale for certain cover-ups and any work tattooing over scaring.

The minimum cost is $180-200, and most my flash designs range between $350-600

Can I apply a Numbing cream before the booking?

Yes you can, but please mention this prior to the booking. I generally recommend ‘Numit’ as it does not alter the skin in a significant way, if you use a numbing cream I have not recommended it may make your skin unpredictable to tattoo and could impact the quality of the tattoo

I also have a soothe spray (Bactine) to use during the tattoo, this alleviates the pain and can be used nearer the end of the session.

Should I do anything to prepare before my booking?

  • Get a good night sleep

  • Fed and Hydrated (you can bring snacks and liquids)

  • Don’t be hungover

  • No drugs/alcohol before or during the booking.

  • Wear comfortable clothes. If possible something that provides access to the area we’re tattooing (button up shirt, shorts, singlets etc)

  • You don’t need to pre-shave the area

  • Shower the day of the booking.

Can I bring friends with me?

Always ask and check first, but generally it is okay to have a support friend come along. The rooms is a shared space, please be considerate if there are others in the space.

What do I do when I arrive at the studio?

Not much. When you arrive you’ll be greeted, seated and given a consent form to read through. Once we’re ready we’ll then have a pre-tattoo chat about the design, placement and sizing, this is a good time to ask any questions, go over any anxieties or concerns, etc.

Can I take photos in the studio?

Yea, you can ask to take pictures/videos during the tattoo, but I do request that you do not photograph or film anything during our booking without asking first. When taking pictures/videos it is important to be mindful of what can be seen in the background, keep in mind other clients should not be visible in your photos

What if I get there and I change my mind?

It's much better to reschedule ahead of time if you're having second thoughts but, under no circumstance would I want to tattoo something you didn’t want. If you’re not happy with the design, even if we’ve got so far that the stencil is on your skin, you can at any point decide you don’t want the tattoo.

What should I wear / removing garments?

In most instances a tattoo can be done simply by moving and taping garments out of the way. There are placements that require you to be either shirtless or pantless, rarely is it both, and there are very few instances where undergarments would need to be moved or adjusted. If or when garments are removed/moved we will have a conversation to ensure you’re comfortable. The studio is a shared open space, privacy screen can be used if required/requested.

We do have private rooms at the studio, when making your booking you’re welcome to request a private room for any tattoo that isn’t on a limb.

How do I look after my tattoo?

We’ll go over that together at the end of our booking.

Did something not heal right?

One free touch-up is part of the deal, there’s a section in the booking form to select for touch-ups, please make sure to attach a picture of the tattoo.

What aftercare product should I use?

Bepanthen and Dr.pickles are fan favourites.

Do you do genital tattoos?

This is something that can be done, if I think I can execute your idea, we can have a consult to discuss the booking and walkthrough what will happen during the booking. Due to the intimate nature of these bookings, it’s crucial we both feel comfortable and understand what will happen during the booking, a pre-tattoo consult is required before I can offer a booking.
